Founded in 1880 as St. Mark's , they became Ardwick Association Football Club in 1887 and Manchester City in 1894. Liverpool Football Club is an English professional football club based in Liverpool, Merseyside, playing in the Premier League. Liverpool was founded in 1892 and admitted into the Football League the following year.
